Department of Directing and Acting Art
The own University Concert Hall is a good place for students to hone their acting and directing skills. Besides the Student practice in different St. Petersburg Theatres, Students Graduate Performances are very popular and are shown on theatre venues of St. Petersburg, Moscow and other Russian cities. Every year the Department organizes a scientific Conference devoted to the problems of Theatre Pedagogy: traditions and innovations. The participants of the Conference are Moscow and Saint Petersburg Universities, famous actors and directors of St. Petersburg theatres.
