Professor J.Klafter is a scientist in the field of Chemical Physic, active organizer of science and higher education, the President of Tel-Aviv University. Many prestigious science prizes was established owing to J.Klafter such as Award named after A. von Humboldt, Weizmann’s Prize for the contribution to the development of science, Rothschild’s Prize in Chemistry, Award of the Israeli Chemical Society.
