Lidia Putkina is Professor of the Computer Science and Mathematics Department, the Deputy Head of Department for Science, Candidate of technical sciences. She has been working in SPbUHSS since 2002. Her research interests are: business processes analysis, modeling and reengineering by CASE-tools: probabilistic economical characters modeling for management decisions in socio-cultural sphere; process approach to organization’s management. L. Putkina is an author of more than 100 scientific and methodical works.

Now four postgraduates are working under Professor Putkina’s supervising on the theses, their subjects are:

- “Methods for evaluating the effectiveness of non-profit organizations” (A.S. Maltsev);

- “Designing economic entities on the basis of modern information technologies” (E.B. Doroshenko);

- “Risk management activities in service industries” (S.V. Baklenev);

- “Methods for assessing the effectiveness of innovative projects in a small business” (O.O. Bazhenov).
