SPbUHSS implements academic cooperation programs with many leading Universities of the world. The University students have an opportunity to study abroad in the best Universities of China, Korea, Germany, USA, Japan, etc. The best professors give lectures and master-classes in SPbUHSS, take part in the International Likhachev Scientific Conference – the largest annual forum of the Humanities in Russia.

During the visit Rector Alexander Zapesotsky and Rector Sergey Ablameiko signed an Agreement of Partnership between the St. Petersburg University of the Humanities and Social Sciences and the Belarusian State University. The following areas of cooperation are included in the agreement:

• Support of educational programs and scientific projects in national and international markets;
• Development of academic student mobility for raising the level of education, speaking practice and a cultural horizon;
• Development of academic mobility of faculty, postgraduate students and specialists for the educational and scientific research activity, raising the professional level, experience exchange, working out new educational programs;
• Development and implementation of joint educational programs and Double Degree programs;
• Development and implementation of joint research, applied and commercial projects for the development of the education and science;
• Organization of conferences, seminars and presentations in the framework of joint activity of the Parties, preparing and publishing scientific, informational, advertising and other editions;
• Organization of inter-institutional associations;
• Assistance in development of the common informational environment for participants of the international cooperation.

Universities also plan to develop cooperation by sharing ideas, information, experience; implementing joint seminars, projects and conferences. Other forms of cooperation agreed in the field of infrastructure development to support innovation in the field of education and science are in the list.

Rector Zapesotsky gave a lecture to the professors and students on the problems of the university education, met with the leading mass media of Belarus.
