March 14. Ms. Asya Urbanova, 2-year SPbUHSS student, Faculty of Arts, won the Laureate Diploma of the III degree in International Music Mastery Contest “St. Petersburg’s Spring” (piano mastery).

Ms. Asya Urbanova is a multiple winner of national and international music mastery contests.

International contest “St. Petersburg Spring” is one of the famous contests of young performers. It is being held by St. Petersburg Creative Center “Vdokhnoveniye” (Inspiration) under the support of Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, Committee for Culture of the Government of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. About 400 soloists and 60 teams from Russia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Poland, Costa-Rica, and USA took part at the contest in 2016. About one hundred soloists and piano ensembles performed in the category “Piano Mastery”.

Assoc. Prof. Elena Polekhina, SPbUHSS Audio Engineering Department, prepared Asya Urbanova to the participation in the contest. She has personally prepared earlier 32 musical mastery contests from city to international levels. Fellows of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation are among her students.
