The Memorandum was signed by the Rector of SPbUHSS academician Alexander Zapesotsky and the Rector of Allameh Tabataba’i University professor Hossein Salimi.

This document determines the main areas of the collaboration such as joint scientific-educational projects implementing, organization of conferences, seminars, lectures, preparation and publication of joint scientific and informational materials, academic exchange professors and students.

SPbUHSS has got such partnership with many leading Universities of the world. Due to this students of SPbUHSS have an opportunity to train abroad in the best Universities of China, Korea, Germany, USA, Japan, etc. The best professors give lectures and master-classes in SPbUHSS; take part in the International Likhachev Scientific Conference – the largest in Russia annual forum of the Humanities.

Allameh Tabataba’i University was founded in 1983 based on 24 independent colleges. During more than 30 years it became the largest specialized state University in the Humanities and Social Sciences on the Middle East. There are more than 18 000 students studying at seven departments of the University.

Allameh Tabataba’i University is recognized by the Ministry of Science, Researches and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran as the main scientific center in Economics, Psychology and education.
